Lil Rod Who Accused Diddy Includes Cuba Gooding Jr. in Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Music producer Lil Rod has expanded his sexual assault lawsuit to include actor Cuba Gooding Jr., alongside rapper Diddy, based on allegations stemming from an incident on Diddy’s yacht in January 2023.
Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones Jr. claims that during a gathering in the Virgin Islands, Diddy attempted to ‘pass off’ Jones to Gooding, leading to an unwanted physical encounter. According to legal documents reviewed by USA Today, Gooding Jr. is accused of inappropriately touching Jones, including his legs, upper inner thighs, lower back, and shoulders.
The lawsuit also presents photographic evidence, including an image of Gooding with his arm around Jones and pictures capturing a conversation between Combs and Gooding on the yacht. Despite the alleged incident, Combs is accused of not intervening to prevent Gooding’s purported actions.
Jones, who recently collaborated with Combs on ‘The Love Album: Off the Grid,’ initially sued the rapper for a range of accusations, including forcing him into situations with sex workers. The lawsuit has now been amended to include Gooding as a co-defendant, highlighting a broader scope of alleged misconduct.
This legal action comes in the wake of homeland security agents conducting raids on Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami, adding to the rapper’s legal troubles. The nature of these investigations is linked to various allegations, including those made by former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, which accuse Combs of severe misconduct, including sex trafficking.
Ventura’s lawsuit, settled out of court, is among at least four civil complaints against Combs, further complicating his legal landscape. These accusations span decades and include claims from other individuals alleging sexual assault and misconduct, further casting a shadow over Combs’ career and personal life.
