YouTuber MKBHD announces his selection for Team USA at the World Ultimate Championships, leading to a brief delay in tech reviews, including the upcoming iPhone 16 release.

Bollywood Fever: MKBHD, widely known for his in-depth tech reviews, revealed in a YouTube video on September 1 that he has been selected to represent Team USA in the 2024 World Ultimate Championships (WUC).

The international sports competition, held every four years, is a prestigious event in the world of Ultimate Frisbee.

MKBHD, who has been playing the sport for 17 years, expressed his excitement about finally achieving his long-time goal.

“I’ve been trying to play for these teams for pretty much my entire Ultimate career; it’s been my big goal,” MKBHD, whose real name is Marques Brownlee, explained in the video. After trying out for various teams throughout his career, he was thrilled to be selected for the 2024 tournament.

However, his participation in the WUC means he will miss a few tech events, including the highly anticipated release of the iPhone 16 on September 9.

Brownlee acknowledged that his review might be slightly delayed but reassured his audience that the tournament only lasts a week, so fans won’t have to wait long for his latest content.

MKBHD, who has made a name for himself with his sharp insights and critical reviews, recently garnered attention for his review of the Humane AI Pin and faced some backlash for his thoughts on the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
