Bollywoodfever, February 29: Ryan Garcia, the well-known American boxer, recently disclosed he’s in a new relationship shortly after his divorce from model Andrea Celina, the mother of his second child, born less than two months ago.
Garcia, who has held the title of WBC interim lightweight champion, shared news last month about both the arrival of his new child with Celina and their divorce almost simultaneously, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ after three years of marriage.
He assured continued financial support for their children, three-year-old Bela and newborn Henry.
Moving swiftly past his divorce, Garcia is now with Mikaela Testa, an Australian influencer who boasts over 400,000 Instagram followers.Â
He’s not just romantically involved with Testa but is also training her in boxing, expressing hopes that the ‘Misfits’ crossover promotion will feature her in a future fight.
Garcia playfully introduced Testa on Instagram, highlighting their relationship’s current casual stage but openly acknowledging his affection for her. He ambitiously plans to train Testa for boxing, suggesting her potential debut in a ‘Misfits’ event, with a significant prize and pay-per-view share as incentives for challengers.
As Garcia prepares for his upcoming fight with WBC super-lightweight champion Devin Haney on April 20, he openly praises Testa, addressing critics and asserting his love and plans for her involvement in boxing.
Following the divorce announcement, Celina was spotted leaving Garcia’s $3 million California residence, indicating the physical separation that accompanied their marital split.
Garcia has spoken about the divorce with a tone of regret and emphasis on co-parenting their children, praising Celina’s role as a mother and partner despite their separation. He reaffirmed his commitment to their children’s well-being and his collaboration with Celina in parenting.
Garcia is on a path to claim his first world championship title against Haney in New York on April 20, following a comeback knockout victory against Oscar Duarte after his first career defeat to Gervonta Davis.
