Swift, 34, originally launched her 11th studio album on Friday, only to reveal hours later that it was actually a surprise ‘double album’ named “The Anthology,” containing nearly twice as many songs as initially expected. This revelation came after Swift hinted at a major announcement by posting a countdown on social media, adding to the suspense.

In this second installment, one of the standout tracks, “thanK you aIMee,” has caught the attention of fans who believe the song targets Kim Kardashian, 43. They point to the capitalization of the letters K, I, and M in the song’s title as a subtle hint. Another song, “Cassandra,” features several references to ‘snakes,’ a recurring symbol in Swift and Kardashian’s bitter exchanges, further fueling speculation of its intended jab.

“thanK you aIMee” seems to narrate Taylor’s feelings toward a mean girl from school named ‘Aimee,’ whom fans interpret as a metaphor for Kim. The lyrics delve into past grievances and a narrative of overcoming betrayal:

‘There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you and a plaque underneath it/That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school.’

‘All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F**k you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’ / But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.’

‘And it wasn’t a fair fight, or a clean kill / Each time that Aimee stomped across my gravе / And then she wrote hеadlines/ In the local paper, laughing at each baby step I’d take.’

The track also hints at Kim’s daughter North West, who danced to Swift’s song “Shake It Off” on TikTok, suggesting an ironic twist given their mothers’ history:

‘And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues/And one day, your kid comes home singin’ a song that only us two is gonna know is about you.’

Fan reactions on social media platform X ranged from declaring the song as “The ultimate f**k you,” to others expressing disbelief and anticipation of Kim’s response: ‘OMFG thanK you aIMee is about Kim Kardashian. This album is SO unhinged.’

While “thanK you aIMee” and “Cassandra” lead the charge, fans have noted that Swift’s portrayal of her own experiences and disputes continues to captivate and provoke, ensuring the feud remains firmly in the spotlight.
