Cameron shared the devastating news with a touching tribute, writing, “No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age.” He reflected on the challenges Taylor had faced over the past year, noting that despite her suffering, she remained a beacon of light to those around her.
“This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime,” he wrote. In spite of that, she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.” Cameron described Taylor as the “most brave and strong woman” he knows, praising her unwavering faith, even in her darkest moments.
While he didn’t reveal the cause of her death, Cameron explained that Taylor’s body was still being kept on life support so that her organs could be donated, a final wish that would allow her to continue helping others. “More than anything, Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world,” he shared.
In the post, Cameron also mentioned the financial challenges they faced due to Taylor’s health struggles. Since her “sudden and unexpected” passing, they lack the funds to cover funeral expenses and have set up a GoFundMe page to help with the costs.
Taylor and Cameron tied the knot in August 2023, and just last month, they celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Taylor shared a reel from their wedding day, captioning it, “Happy one year to us. I love you Cameron!! 💛.”
