Usher Ties the Knot with Girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea in Las Vegas
Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea made headlines after the Super Bowl game in Las Vegas, where Usher was spotted wearing a gold band on his left ring finger.
The singer officially tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea on February 11 in Las Vegas.
According to reports from People, the couple exchanged vows at Vegas Weddings’ Terrace Gazebo with Usher’s mother, Jonetta Patton, as their witness, as indicated on the marriage certificate. Notably, Usher had also performed at the Super Bowl.
Representatives for Usher confirmed the news to People, stating, “We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family.
They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.”
Following the game, Usher and Jennifer were spotted together, with Usher donning a gold band on his finger while Jennifer was elegantly dressed in an all-white pantsuit. Usher complemented her look with a white fur coat over his black tuxedo.
Reflecting on his relationship with Jennifer in a recent interview with People, Usher expressed his gratitude, saying, “Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course, it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you for who you are. We’ve obviously made a commitment to live for life together because of our children.”
“It wouldn’t be unusual for us to tie the knot. We’ve already done so here. You know what I mean? And we’ll be intertwined in each other’s lives until the end, naturally, because we have something wonderful to share.
That’s our children. But it’s not just because of that. I genuinely believe I have an incredible partner whom I deeply respect,” he explained.
Usher and Jennifer welcomed their first child, daughter Sovereign Bo, in 2020, followed by their son, Sire Castrello, in 2021. Usher also has two sons, Usher V and Naviyd Ely, with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.
Jennifer and Usher first sparked dating rumors when they were photographed together at producer Keith Thomas’ 40th birthday party in June 2019.
