Trivia
The film went into a legal battle after Jimmy Shergill too has a film with a similar title “Veere Ki Wedding”, and Rhea Kapoor lost the case in court.
The film was banned in Pakistan for its explicit language and sexuality.
Sonam Kapoor and Badshah collaborated for the second time in the song “Taarifan” after “Abhi To Party Shuru Hui Hai” from ‘Khoobsurat’ (2014). Both the songs turned out to be chartbusters.
It was released alongside “Bhavesh Joshi”, starring Sonam’s brother Harshvardhan Kapoor.
First major role for Shikha Talsania, daughter of veteran comedian Tiku Talsania.
