Michael Myers is a fictional character from the Halloween series of slasher films. 

He first appears in John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978) as a young boy who murders his elder sister, Judith Myers. 

Fifteen years later, he returns home to Haddonfield, Illinois, to murder more teenagers. 

In the original Halloween, the adult Michael Myers, referred to as The Shape in the closing credits.

The character is the primary antagonist in all films except Halloween III: Season of the Witch, which is not connected in continuity to the rest of the films. 

Michael Myers is characterized as pure evil, both directly in the films, by the filmmakers who created and developed the character over nine films, and by random participants in a survey.

In the first two films, Michael wears a Captain Kirk mask that is painted white. The mask, which was made from a cast of William Shatner’s face, was originally used in the 1975 horror film The Devil’s Rain.

Nick Castle

Nicholas Charles Castle played Michael Myers in John Carpenter’s horror film Halloween (1978).

He reprised the role in Halloween (2018), and its sequels Halloween Kills (2021) and Halloween Ends (2022).

Tony Moran

Anthony Moran played the unmasked Michael Myers in the 1978 horror classic Halloween. 

Dick Warlock

Dick Warlock is an American actor and stuntman. 

He played Michael Myers in Halloween II. 

He also played the android assassin in Halloween III: Season of the Witch and he was Kurt Russell’s personal stunt double for over 25 years, also collaborating with such directors as Steven Spielberg and John Carpenter. 

George P. Wilbur

Wilbur played Michael Myers in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.

Wilbur also was credited as a stunt player in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, another Halloween sequel, although not in the role of Michael Myers as actor and stuntman Don Shanks played the role.

Don Shanks

Shanks portrayed Michael Myers in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. 

In 2006, he appeared as Ben Willis, the infamous serial killer in the film I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.

He played Michael Myers in the remake of Halloween and its sequel Halloween II.

James Jude Courtney

He played Michael Myers in the 2018 film Halloween and its two sequels, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.
