Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith made another incredible one-handed touchdown catch in Week 6 against Iowa, his third in two games, drawing rave reactions from fans.

BollywoodFever: Ohio State Buckeyes freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith continues to turn heads with his spectacular catches. 

In Week 6 of the college football season, Smith made an incredible one-handed touchdown grab during Ohio State’s 14-0 victory over Big Ten rival Iowa Hawkeyes at Ohio Stadium.

Midway through the third quarter, with the Buckeyes leading 7-0, quarterback Will Howard launched a pass to the back corner of the end zone from the four-yard line.

Despite being held back by the defender, Smith made a remarkable one-handed grab for his third such catch in two games. In Week 5, Smith made two similar grabs against Michigan State, with one resulting in a touchdown.

The 18-year-old true freshman has impressed fans and analysts alike, earning praise on social media for his incredible skill and maturity. Fans took to platforms to marvel at his abilities, with one saying, “Kids a stud!! 🔥🔥,” and another declaring, “Jeremiah Smith is the greatest player in football history.”

Smith, who is the cousin of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith, entered the game with 19 receptions for 364 yards and five touchdowns already this season. 

Ranked as the No. 1 player in the 2024 high school class, his performance so far has solidified his reputation as a standout.

Next up for the Buckeyes is a highly anticipated showdown against the No. 6 Oregon Ducks, their first meeting since 2021 and Oregon’s first season as a Big Ten team. The game is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
