Originally, Hooten had planned to propose in Ireland, but he adjusted his plans after Jamie’s hospitalization in April 2023. Despite the uncertainty surrounding her father’s condition, Corinne spent the summer with him in Chicago while he recovered, unaware that Hooten had relocated the proposal. The producer proposed in a Chicago park, flying in Corinne’s mom, Connie Kline, and her aunts to witness the moment.

The couple married in September 2023 at Jamie Foxx’s Los Angeles home. It was incredibly special, considering his health scare last year,” Corinne said, adding that she walked down the aisle with her father to a strings version of Ray Charles’ “Georgia On My Mind.” There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, she recalled.

Jamie Foxx was thrilled about the engagement and expressed his excitement in a heartfelt Instagram comment after Corinne shared the news in December 2023: “can’t wait to walk you down that isle [sic].”
