BollywoodFever: Kalen DeBoer and Alabama bounced back from last week’s tough loss with a thrilling 27-25 victory over South Carolina. The game went down to the wire, but Alabama found a way to come out on top with a crucial touchdown from Germir Bernard with just over two minutes left in the game.

After the match, DeBoer emphasized how proud he was of his team’s response following their previous setback. “Another game down to the wire—we’re getting accustomed to those,” DeBoer said in his post-game remarks. “I think there’s some things we can certainly do to avoid those situations, but we always talk about finding a way to win, and today we did just that.”
DeBoer also touched on the team’s preparation leading up to the game, pointing out that the response in practice, especially after their loss last week, played a big role in their performance. “We came ready to practice, and that showed today,” he added.
On the game-winning play, DeBoer explained the decision to go for the first down with just over two minutes on the clock: “We knew we had to get the first down, especially with how much time was left. There’s a risk-reward aspect, but we were just on the edge of field goal range. Jalen made a great read, seeing the deeper route, something we didn’t always spot early in the season.”
With this win, Alabama moves forward with confidence, responding well after their previous week’s defeat.
