BollywoodFever: Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has shared her excitement for the INEOS Britannia sailing team after they made history by qualifying for the America’s Cup for the first time since 1964.

As a long-time sailing enthusiast, the Princess took to social media to congratulate Sir Ben Ainslie and his team, commending their display of “teamwork, skill, and determination.”
“Congratulations to @benainslie and the whole INEOS Britannia Team on qualifying for the 37th America’s Cup!” she wrote. “Best of luck for the final challenge!” The message was accompanied by an official video from INEOS Britannia, marking the team’s triumph after surpassing the Italian Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team in the best-of-13 series.
In the video, Ainslie expressed his pride in the team’s journey, stating, “We started this team 10 years ago. Britain wasn’t in the America’s Cup; it took a lot of support, particularly from Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS, to get us here.”
Meanwhile, Prince William made headlines of his own with a visit to Birtley, Tyne, where he celebrated the reopening of a community pool that had been closed due to budget cuts but reopened after a successful fundraising campaign.
