BollywoodFever: Kyle McCord delivered an outstanding performance in Syracuse’s 44-41 overtime victory against No. 25 UNLV on Friday night. McCord completed 40-of-63 passes for 355 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception, propelling the Orange to victory in a thrilling matchup. His six-yard touchdown pass to Jackson Meeks with 23 seconds left in regulation forced overtime, where Syracuse eventually sealed the win.

Entering the game with the nation’s highest passing average of 364.8 yards per game, McCord continued his dominance through the air against an undefeated UNLV team. Junior LeQuint Allen also played a key role, rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning score in overtime. Allen contributed in the passing game with nine catches for 58 yards and two additional touchdowns. Freshman Yasin Willis added 62 rushing yards and a touchdown on just eight carries.
On the UNLV side, Hajj-Malik Williams started in place of Matthew Sluka, completing 84% of his passes for 227 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. Williams also ran for 53 yards and scored a rushing touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to prevent UNLV’s first loss of the season.
The thrilling game left fans impressed with McCord and Syracuse’s offense, as they handed the Rebels their first defeat in dramatic fashion.
