Emily in Paris” Stars Enjoy a ‘Sunday Fun Day’ at Disneyland Paris
The “Emily in Paris” ensemble enjoyed a day full of enchantment at Disneyland Paris.
“Lily Collins celebrated a ‘Sunday fun day at the happiest place on Earth! Missed @charliemcdowell a lot but he was with us in spirit for the adventure. He’s always with me in spirit…” she shared on Instagram on Sunday, March 24.
Collins, 35, captured and posted a series of photos and videos from their day out. In one snapshot, she and fellow actor Ashley Park are seen joyously raising their arms in front of the Magic Kingdom. Another image captured them asleep in the back of a car, donning Mickey Mouse ears.
In January 2024, Collins announced on Instagram that production for season 4 of the popular Netflix show “Emily in Paris” had kicked off.
“Excited for Saison Quatre?!” she exclaimed, showcasing a script from the upcoming season’s first episode. “Thrilled to be back with my @emilyinparis family in Paris – it feels incredible. Though, it seems I might need to refine my selfie taking for Emily’s benefit…”
Park, aged 32, in the following month, shared her own excitement about returning to the set through a video on Instagram, captured while she was getting her makeup done. “Thrilled to begin filming days with @carolenicolas @parizhair once more!” she captioned. (Earlier in January, Park disclosed her recovery from a severe bout of tonsillitis that had escalated into critical septic shock.)
The dramatic finale of season 3, which was released in December 2022, saw characters Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Camille (Camille Razat) calling off their wedding due to his unresolved feelings for Emily (Collins). Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), upon learning of their breakup, immediately ended his relationship with Emily.
The plot thickens when Emily, exploring her feelings for Gabriel, is stunned by his revelation of Camille’s pregnancy.
Reflecting on the season’s finale, Collins shared with Entertainment Tonight, “I went through all the possible endings, thinking they were alternatives.
Then it dawned on me that they were all happening simultaneously. It was like, ‘Hold on, there’s a wedding and then there’s not, and this engagement that morphs into a wedding that suddenly isn’t, which then leads to a pregnancy reveal, and I’m just like, ‘What the f—k? What!’”
Darren Star, the show’s creator, hinted at the narrative’s continuation into season 4 in an E! News interview. “There’s much more story to be told, and we’re far from concluding,” he noted. “Creatively, we feel we’re amidst a journey, not nearing its conclusion.”
