In 1957, Kathryn married Hollywood icon Bing Crosby, after meeting him during her early days in the film industry. Their marriage led Kathryn to step back from her blossoming acting career to focus on her family. The couple had three children together: Harry, Mary, and Nathaniel.

While largely putting her acting career on hold, Kathryn appeared with Bing in Christmas specials, on The Hollywood Palace, and in Minute Maid commercials, where they portrayed an idyllic American family. In addition to her acting and writing, Kathryn had a passion for education, earning a degree in nursing in 1963 and later marrying Maurice William Sullivan, who had tutored her children. Sullivan tragically died in a car accident in 2010, which left Kathryn seriously injured.

Kathryn Crosby is survived by her three children: Harry, an investment banker; Mary, an actress known for her role on Dallas; and Nathaniel, an accomplished amateur golfer.

Kathryn’s life was marked by both immense talent and devotion to family, and she will be remembered as a beloved actress and partner to one of Hollywood’s greatest legends.
