Oklahoma Couple Arrested After Children Found Locked in Filthy Conditions Covered in Feces

Dakota Rain Dodd and Aubrianna Jewelyn Willow Freeman were arrested for child neglect after their children were found locked in a filthy bedroom, covered in feces in Oklahoma City.

BollywoodFever: A couple in Oklahoma City has been arrested and faces multiple counts of child neglect after their children were discovered in horrific living conditions, locked in a bedroom and covered in feces.

Dakota Rain Dodd, 24, and Aubrianna Jewelyn Willow Freeman, 22, were taken into custody following a neighbor’s 911 call that led police to investigate their residence on Greenvale Road, near Lytle Park.

The neighbor had spotted two young boys, ages three and four, unclothed and in distress in an upstairs window.

Upon arrival at the apartment, police officers were immediately hit by the overwhelming stench of urine and feces.

When Dodd answered the door, he initially claimed to be alone, but soon admitted that his two sons were upstairs.

A police report described the apartment as “extremely unkempt” with filth covering the floors, walls, and tables.

The odor was so strong that officers reported being physically affected by it. As Dodd prepared to lead officers upstairs, he reportedly phoned Freeman, telling her, “The ******* cops are at my door; we need to go.

Upon entering the children’s bedroom, officers were met with an appalling scene. The two boys were found naked, standing at the door as if they had been trying to escape.

Both were “extremely dirty,” with feces smeared across their faces, hands, bodies, and legs.

Oklahoma City Police MSgt. Gary Knight described the scene as “completely disgusting” to ABC affiliate KOCO, noting that officers nearly passed out due to the overwhelming smell of feces and urine.

Police had to wear hazmat suits to enter the apartment due to the unsanitary conditions.

According to court filings, Dodd admitted that the boys had been confined to their filthy bedroom for approximately 12 hours daily.

In a further disturbing development, another child was reportedly found in the home. All three children were taken to a hospital for examinations and are now in the care of state child welfare agencies.

The couple was arrested on September 12, 2024, though formal charges are still pending. A representative from the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office informed Law & Crime that charges are expected soon. The couple’s bond has been set at $250,000.
